Ditches
You may not give your ditches much thought until we have that huge rain event and your property suddenly is flooded and needs to drain. Clean ditches help keep your property drained and dry.
Wetlands
A proper wetland can be completely filled with plant life but you have to make sure it is the proper kind of plants. Invasive exotics can smother out desirable native plants in a very short time, leaving you with nothing but a weed filled mess.
Rip-Rap
Rip-Rap has become very popular over the last 10 years or so. They prevent erosion and can look very nice when they are properly maintained. If not maintained they can be completely taken over by weeds and not even be recognizable as rip-rap. You need to protect your investment and keep your rip-rap looking good.
Pond Dye
Adding a blue or black dye to your pond can both give you a nice looking natural pond and add the function of blocking sunlight to help reduce light penetration into the pond. By reducing light you can help reduce algae and plant growth in your pond.
